Yesterday was a quick trip to the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. Never having been before we drove down. Had breakfast in Anaheim at the Original Pancake House (yum!) and then ended up at Dana Point a little early. Which meant Beach Time.
The beach closest to the point is a calm little crescent, a classic mother's beach. Little Man ate sand, got into the water, and otherwise had a good time.
As you can see in this picture, I built a sand castle. Which I haven't done in eons (and it was a crummy one too). Like bike riding, having children means looking a things with new eyes.
